WINTER TRAINING
The work behind the results. High-level, structured off-season training for competitive track & field athletes committed to reaching their potential.
The outdoor season is built long before the first meet. Momentum Performance’s winter training program provides competitive athletes with structured, individualized, event-specific development in a focused training environment. Our approach emphasizes technical proficiency, speed development, strength, and long-term progression, preparing athletes to enter the spring season ready to compete.
Training Schedule & Location
Winter training takes place at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse, providing athletes with access to a dedicated indoor track and field facility throughout the off-season.
Training opportunities are available Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, as well as Saturday afternoons. Athletes have the flexibility to attend as many or as few weekly sessions as best fit their schedules, goals, and training needs.
Our regular sessions emphasize event-specific development, technical proficiency, speed, and strength within a focused, competitive training environment.
Additional specialized sessions for hurdles and horizontal jumps may be offered throughout the winter based on athlete interest and demand. These sessions are supplemental to the regular training schedule and may not be available immediately at the beginning of the season.
